Hello, I purchased a Acer Aspire 5 A515-51G-52EB with a 256GB NVMe SSD. I would like to add on a SATA HDD, I would like to ask, is this part suitable for my model of Aspire 5?
And if, where I should look for it?

Yes you are correct you can install a SATA SSD
Crucial have a 2tb SATA and they guarantee that it is compatible for your exact model. I write down the part number and order from Amazon, it is faster delivery and cheaper, link below to Crucial for your model

i have an aspire 5  a515-51g-85dj bought new BUT the cable for the hdd/ssd isn't there (i've opened the case like in the guide) and the caddy(metal silverish plate) is missing too.
Is it normal for my model? Apparently the is a socket with label "hdd" but no cable.

Well for my A515-54 the bracket and cable were in the box with the laptop and documents - not in the drive bay. had your box been opened?

I bought from amazon but the sticker on the package was intact .
I guess the presence of the cable is not a big problem since it must be cheap, mostly i want to know if it had to be there and so complain with amazon and fix  it by myself(or hardware shop).
