So on the KG251Q (https://www.microcenter.com/product/510224/acer-kg251q-245-full-hd-240hz-hdmi-dp-freesync-led-gaming-monitor) it shows on the fourth picture the box, saying that it's flickerless. However, when using https://www.testufo.com/blurtrail to test for artifacts, there's actually a ton of PWM flicker especially at higher refresh rates. Does anyone know if this monitor actually uses PWM, even though it says it's flickerless? Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Sorry for necroing an older thread, but I think others might find this useful in their search for an answer as well. I recently contacted Acer support about this. Their response:
This Monitor uses PWM Backlight. The flicker-less technology does not mean that no PWM Backlight is used or the screen does not flicker. It is a technology that adjusts the frequency of the PWM Backlight in such a way that flickering is only perceptible by humans in exceptional cases and leads to known symptoms such as headaches or nausea.

So while it could be argued that flicker-less could mean the monitor literally "flickers less", I find the ambiguous meaning of the term somewhat deceiving. I'm pretty sure 99% of customers will interpret it as meaning "no flicker at all".
