Aspire V3-575T - Driver Updates

OK...  Here's my Acer Laptop (Aspire V3-575T :  https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6444?b=1
I've just downloaded & installed a Driver update utility from Driver Easy.  After scanning my computer they listed 17 "outdated drivers" 
There's not an easy way to list them, but I could type them out if relevant.  Driver Easy is "selling" the service of their automated driver download & installation.  
I don't need that, as i am able to install the drivers manually if needed.    My question:  Is there any reason to do so?   
The downloads from the Driver Easy site are throttled back to encourage users to buy the pay version.  e.g. One driver, for the Intel HD Graphics 520 is 1.1 Gb, and would require many hours to download from the Driver Easy site.  I can find drivers elsewhere..  but should I?  Is there any advantage?  Any risk?   I've created a Backup Restore Point, if necessary.  
Any advice would be appreciated.

I NEVER use those 3rd party Driver utilities, you are quite right you can update all the drivers yourself and they often install the wrong drivers causing a lot of problems.
If I suspect my drivers are outdated I go to Device manager and expand each item then right click all items that appear and select Update Driver website for each one but DON'T use this method for Display Adapters, for the Display Adapter go to the manufacturers Nvidia/AMD
