Predator PH517-51 - Helios 500 Basic Functionality

Couple questions on my Predator PH517-51, I'm having trouble finding out if these are common issues or just something wrong with drivers/my machine. 

Recently got it and noticed that the keyboard seems to have 2-key rollover? In particular the notable combination is that while holding ctrl, I can only press 'w' or '2', but not both. The other is the insane keyboard noise being picked up by my mic. I saw a review saying that it wasn't picked up when they were on a video call, but in my case, normal typing is being picked up by discord as louder than speaking. Are these normal? Acer forum search functionality isn't working for me and these are both pretty frustrating.

Let's do it by steps:

What is the question about the keys?
Keyboard noise should be configured with advanced microphone options in the applications to omit or improve ambient sounds.
The search on the forum is occurring this error due to the fact of maintaining the servers and implementing new features.
It will soon be functional.

First off on the keys, is whether or not the keyboard has combinations where it maxes out at two keys press. For a gaming laptop, I find it pretty important to press multiple keys, and given that I've only seen this reported once elsewhere, I wanted to see if other Helios owners were able to press that key combination (to verify it's not a hardware limitation).

As for the microphone, gentle keypresses are being picked up louder than normal talking, even with all the settings in Discord set to cancel out ambient/keyboard sounds. Also was looking for other Helios owners to tell me whether or not this was standard.

Command keys ALT, Ctrl, Shift, etc ... are used in conjunction with others to make certain combinations according to applications or system.
There is a huge variety and each application or system will generate a result.

As for the sound, have you tried another application other than discord?

I am familiar with the concept of command keys, I have tested it in both windows 10 and off a linux boot usb, so I doubt it is software. It is either a hardware limitation, hardware failure, or maybe something at the BIOS level. I am able to press ctrl and either 'w' or '2', but not both. Pressing ctrl and 'w' still allows me to press '1' or '3', but not '2'. 

I'll test the microphone more thoroughly with other applications though.

The Mic problem officially has nothing to do with discord. All I'm looking for is verification that there are people with the same model Helios that do not have these issues.
