Recently, I spilt vimto on the keyboard and instead of tipping the laptop upside and down and dried it quickly with like anything, I kept it like that and let the juice sink in the keyboard and yes I still dried it, soon later I turned the laptop on and experienced a black screen with flicking white distorted.
Then I left it and turned it back on, got a message saying the chromebook os was missing or damaged.
Then on second try it came back to the screen. Sooner or later I got it fixed and working normally till my brothers plugged in their phone chargers in the chromebook, after a while it turned off then it came with the extremely dim or dark screen which you could only see a little with the lights on.
And now it was making weird quiet noises, Im am scared. Pls help.

There are chance that the liquid might be gone into the laptop which might be giving the dim screen
But still you can try power wash once and check
    Power wash:
    1. Sign out of your Chromebook.
    2. Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r.
    3. Select Restart.
    4. In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue.
    5. Follow the on screen instruction
