I updated my Nvidia driver on Acer Swift 3 SF314-55G and now I am having fps drop every 20s. My GPU goes 0% suddenly. I tried installing 2-3 drivers but still facing the same issue.I also tried formatting the laptop but it didn't worked. If anybody can tell me their mx250 driver version it would be great.

I have successfully updated intel graphics but still facing suddenly frame drop and stuttering issue. Please help0
-
Are you using these basic settings?
1- the device must be set to use the Windows high performance power plan
2- the battery must be charged to 100% before playing
3- the battery must be set to advanced power options for maximum performance
5- the applications of the .EXE games must be set on the dedicated GPU Panel to be the main
5- the device must be connected directly to an exclusive power outlet, properly grounded without any adapter

I checked everything you mentioned. But I am still having issue. Can you ask anyone with Acer Swift 3 SF314-55G which driver are they using0

I had the same issues while playing gtav, it is due to thermal throttling.0
-
With thermal throttling the best overall choice is to drop the resolution to allow things to continue to run at the same speed without overheating.

Do you think the issue will be resolved by using some external cooling system like a cooling pad?0

It might help, but YMMV is definitely in order...
