Hello, I'm trying to expand memory in es1-432-c9e2 notebook but I can't boot the machine when module is in the slot - doesn't even show acer logo. Is there something that is required when modules is added? I have tried multiple modules without luck :(

    Good Morning pavlatch !

Are RAM banks in agreement with laptop support?
It uses DDR3L 1600Mhz and has only one socket available for capacities of 2, 4 or 8Gb.

Hi! newbie here. i have the same problem as you encounter yesterday but i happen to solved it by these step.
    1. after you attach your memory. please double check if it fitted correctly. after that try to close the cover correctly with screws.
    2. if the first doesn't work. try the recommended RAM for your acer model. because if it can only hold up to 2666 MHz and you suddenly icrease your memory to 4200 or etc. it might not work. or you will see the power indicator is on but it wont boot. hope my tips help you since we're both newbie here in acer community. but i am well aware of computer parts. slight ^_^ Thanks <3

Yeah it seems that memory voltage might be an issue. Seems like all modules I have are 1.5V while Acer requires low voltage modules.

It actually appears to be 1.35v
