I have an Acer Aspire e15 E5-576G-81GD. I once set the supervisor BIOS password and now I have forgot it. I have tried what feels like everything on the web with no luck.

Here's some context. The computer has Ubuntu 19.04 installed on it. I wiped the recovery drive (stupidly) and windows is completely gone. So any solutions involving windows are out. Including flashing the bios, because acer only provides a windows supported bios (.exe). Anyway, once I enter the password incorrectly 3 times, I get this message:

"Enter Unlock Password(Key: **********)"

The "key" changes every-time I restart the computer, but the current one I am dealing with is 1881737874. If you know how to use this key properly, please ask and I'll provide you the most recent one. Anyway, here is what I've tried so far:

1) Every single BIOS password generator site that is out there (i.e. ************, etc.)
2) Removing the CMOS battery (I've done this more than 5 times, with varying lengths up to a day of leaving the battery out)
3)Various Ubuntu commands:
  3.a) command to erase nvram...
  "$ modprobe nvram"
  "$ dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/nvram"
4) CmosPWD on Ubuntu. Everytime I run this, I get the error "must be run as root". This is despite the fact I am root, and when I "$ echo $USER" I get "root".
5) Looking for the "CMOS jumper"...I've scanned the motherboard hundreds of times. I'm almost certain there is no CMOS Jumper.
6) Contacted Acer Support. They stated I am no longer covered by the warranty, and said I should pay $99 for their "BIOS Password Removal Service". I called the number they provided, which directed me to a non-acer company, I paid the $99 dollars, and they were unable to solve it. Thanks acer.

Can anybody help me?? Please I am so desperate. I might as well toss this pc in the trash unless I can unlock the BIOS. I am willing to try anything and everything. Please please please. And if you happen read this and are in the market for a laptop, think twice before choosing acer. Otherwise, I hope you have a marvelous day :)
