Acer Predator XB271H abmiprz 27" IPS - Can these Predator parts be possibly swapped around ???

Can you lets say use the screen from a Acer Predator XB271H abmiprz 27" IPS Widescreen Gaming Monitor 1ms 144hz Full HD and put it into a Acer Predator XB272 bmiprz 27" Full HD NVIDIA G-SYNC TN Monitor would it work? OR could the power board be used in either one? Reason I ask this is I have a Acer Predator XB271H Abmiprz 27" IPS Widescreen Gaming Monitor 1ms 144hz Full HD that has gone white screen not even a year old and I got for free a working Acer Predator XB272 bmiprz 27" Full HD NVIDIA G-SYNC TN Monitor with a cracked screen so was wondering if parts could be swapped in any way. like say the white screen is caused by a bad power board I could use the other monitors power board to fix the white screen one or use the one with the white screen to replace the broken screen one stuff like that. Anyone got any ideas about this? Sure would help me out a lot don't want to mess around till I know if it will work swapping parts to make 1 good 1:)

The only way to tell is the measure the mounting points for the two displays. If they were using the same manufacturer for the displays there a reasonably good chance it'll fit. If they were getting them from different manufacturers there's a good chance they won't fit withour doing some customization. Also check to make sure the cables between the display and main board is the same between the two.

... I got the dreaded white screen I think I will just take it to the Geek Squad and let them fix it as I pulled it apart and all caps looked good and the jumper to the board from screen cleaned contacts and still white screen I think I surrender

No more ACER's for me I can tell ya and I used to Brag on how rock solid they were AND HOW GOOD THERE CUSTOMER SUPPORT Was WELL THAT WAS A USED TO BE ACER and it SURE IS NOT THE SAME NOW! …. Can you tell I'm just a wee bit bitter about this whole thing lol

not even a year old and customer service advice was take it to a local repair shop or Best Buy to get it fixed we cant help you only 90 day war. on referbs BUT they state there refirbs are as good and the same as retail off the shelf new Monitors … Yeah right mine is only bout 7 months old. If it wasn't so new and expensive I would just throw it out but because it is that would be silly so I will now have to fix it and keep it as a non trustworthy ACER junk monitor as a back-up till I buy a second MSI Gaming Monitor then ill sell the Predator. I went out and bought a MSI 27" Gaming Curved 144hz 1ms Monitor to replace this one already.

UPDATE: I still haven't fixed the Predator BUT went out and bought an MSI 27" Gaming Curved 144hz 1ms Monitor to replace the Predator Monitor. I LOVED The MSI Monitor so much I sold it and went and got the 32" AG32C MSI OPTRIX CURVED GAMING MONITOR and LOVED IT EVEN MORE and I then went and bought a second 32" AG32C MSI OPTRIX CURVED GAMING MONITOR one as a backup. Mate MSI kicks Predator azz sorry to say and I got the 32" AG32C MSI OPTRIX GAMING MONITOR NEW RETAIL from Amazon (NOT A REFURBISHED) at the price I paid for the refurb Acer Predator and it really blows the ACER Predator away that's why I went and bought a second 32" AG32C MSI OPTRIX CURVED GAMING MONITOR. YES the MSI Curved is that much better and I tell you truly. I really did not think I would like the curve but figured what the heck and did and man to my surprise it totally blew me away. The MSI curve is not a heavy curve just a really light perfect curve to the screen that seriously made my gaming even better. I will not be without one from now on that's why i made sure to get an extra as a backup if one needs to go in shop for repair I throw the other on and never be without again left hanging. TY Acer for doing me a great favor, in the long run, buy messing me around and causing me to try an MSI curved.
