Two months ago the motherboard on my desktop gave up working, so I ordered an Acer TC-885UA92. Because I had Microsoft office installed on the old harddrive I installed the harddrive in this new desktop on SATA port 1. I am trying as hell to change the boot sequence so I can boot from that harddrive so I will be able to get the information about the product key, but cannot get to change the boot sequence so the desktop will boot from that harddrive. Can some one please help me on what i am doing wrong or what I am not doing.

Available boot images are stored in the UEFI as part of Windows Boot Manager. You need the tell WBM that you have a second Windows installation and it will then give you the option to boot from one or the other. Do some Google-fu on BCDBoot to see about adding a second boot option.
