Is there any good Performance tips for the AN515-51?

I've Noticed that in some games I have really weird FPS Drops in some cases, The Thing about this is that I pretty much have all the boxes Ticked for Performance. I'm using the Nvidia card in all of my games (Of course), I have Coolboost on, I have the BIOS Updated, heck, I even have the GPU Overclocked properly and Configured well in the Nvidia Control Panel, and yet I still get FPS Drops in some cases.  This rubs me in the wrong way so much that I've considered doing my own custom PC Build instead of using prebuilts. I got this laptop in Christmas of 2018 and yet a year later I'm starting to look down a bit, I might try doing a thermal Re-paste and even upgrading the Ram but at the same time I don't want to because the possibility for a custom build is out there and I don't want to waste cash on something that could end up being amazing for me.

Don't get me wrong, a laptop like this is definitely checking off a lot of boxes for me. But I feel like I'm just not squeezing enough performance out of this thing. Any tips for making it better?

Repasting with Grizzly Kryonaut is an inexpensive way to get those temps down a few degrees and that always helps. Don't know how much RAM you've got but 16gb is my gaming minimum and RAM is inexpensive. I also scour each of my games support pages looking for the optimal settings for the game in my GPU. Don't know if that helped at all
