Hi,
i have a problem with dolby dax2.
Every time the pc goes to sleep it deactivates and I have to reactivate it manually.
It's normal?
Is there any way to get it reactivated automatically?

    Mhmm...i don't t Remember...
with schedule I made sure that the program starts at every awakening but I must always click on ACTIVATE.
Is there any command line to activate it?

Are you using TaskScheduler? If yes, please post screenshots of the triggers, actions and conditions that you specified. Jack E/NJ

Do you mean the launcher doesn't start by itself? Jack E/NJ

    I'll explain:
the dolby audio program is already started, it never closes, even after waking up.
The problem is that, after waking up, I have to click on ATTIVA to activate it.
I was looking for a command line to click ATTIVA automatically.
    Example:
    With CMD if I use
    "dolbydax2trayicon -Hide"
    Dolby audio starts minimized automatically.
I repeat, the problem occurs only after waking up.
If I restart the PC with Dolby Audio activated, I find it activated again.

The registry key for activating the dax2 is:
    \ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Dolby \ DAX (DolbyEnable value 0 or 1)
    Some idea?
I also tried some other realtek audio drivers with different results:
some crash the system, one is stable but with several problems, on waking it remains activated but it is deactivated as soon as I use some program (youtube, etc. etc.).
    Thanks for your patience.

Se non sono installati scanner antivirus non Microsoft, disinstallare TUTTI i driver audio dalla cartella Audio in Gestione dispositivi. Esci da Gestione dispositivi SENZA reinstallare nulla. Spegnimento. Accendi la macchina. Testare nuovamente la modalità sospensione attivazione dolby. Jack E/NJ

If no non-Microsoft virus scanners are installed, uninstall ALL audio drivers from Sound folder in Device Manager. Exit Device Manager WITHOUT re-installing anything. Shut down. Turn machine on. Test dolby activation sleep mode again. Jack E/NJ

    No way,
once deleted ALL audio drivers (including intel and nvidia) and restarted, dolby audio does not work.
I have to reinstall it manually and in any case once reinstalled it does not activate when you wake up.

Did you have wifi turned off when you booted up again? What driver did you manually install? Jack E/NJ

    The drivers for the dolby dax2 are Audio_Realtek_6.0.1.7954_W10x64 \ DAX2 \ x64 \ dax2_app_release_x64.msi
These are the drivers downloaded by acer for my pc model

Try to uninstall the audio drivers again. Shutdown. Then turn your router off. Then turn the machine back on. Please note which drivers have been automatically re-installed without the wifi and see if dolby works. Jack E/NJ

    No way,
dolby audio does not work (it is not installed).
The drivers installed without connection are:
    "Intel (r) audio for screens"
    "Realtek High Definition Audio"

Yes, but please note the version numbers and dates if any so we can keep track of what works, and what doesn't. What is the version number of the driver you manually install? Jack E/NJ

The drivers I use are those provided by Acer for my pc.
    Audio_Realtek_6.0.1.7954_w10x64
    Date 11/10/2016
Inside there are also dolby drivers:
    dax2_app_release_x64.msi

The big problem is that if the installed dolby is not activated, the output volume is decidedly low, even raising it to the maximum.
I noticed however (after a thousand tests) that by uninstalling dolby dax2 the volume returns to normal.
If I can't find a solution, I can also do without dolby audio ....
