it is OK if i use DDr4 4GB ram, 2400MHz for my Aspire E5-475-35CL ?

    Double check that whatever you have installed is DDR4, I'm asking because it's hard to see DDR4 at those clock speeds (they're more common at DDR3L for example). If yours were DDR3L instead of DDR4 then no, you wouldn't be able to use a DDR4 stick in your laptop (they're incompatible, different form factor).

    If whatever you have installed is DDR4 then sure, you can install any DDR4 module you want, preferably at 2133 MHz which is what your processor expects but any higher than that works as well, it'll just be working at 2133 MHz. As for why would you get anything over that speed... price, if getting 8GB @ 2400 MHz is cheaper than 8GB @ 2133 MHz then go for it, otherwise know that DDR4-2133 is the limit of your processor.

    (just in case, if your laptop had DDR3(L) the max supported clock speed would be 1600)
