So i originally was using my pc with a samsung tv and everything was and it's fine, i got an Acer 220Q now and i can't enter the uefi bios, the monitor says "input mode not supported", but i can enter the uefi settings if i plug in my tv, additionally if i go to the uefi with my tv and then take the HDMI cable and connect it to the monitor i do get signal so what gives? did i get a **** monitor or is there some issue with my board or gpu?
I have:Msi gaming plus max board
Amd ryzen 2600x cpu
RX580 sapphire pulse gpu
16 gb corsair 3000 mhz (xmp) ram
corsair rmx 750w psu
The monitor also works fines once windows boots up.
I searched a bit in the forum and found this post https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/552369/acer-sb220q-bi-monitor-wont-show-the-post-screen-displays-input-not-supported-until-im-in-os
It's the exact same problem, the only difference is i was using tvs instead of other monitors but both my samsung and lg tv work fine and allow me to enter to UEFI, it's only this monitor that i just got that's giving me this problem
