Over HDMI it displays "Input Not Supported" until I reach the login screen (which doesn't help because I need to get into my UEFI to reinstall windows). I connected the computer to my TV, and I can get to the UEFI from there, but that's not the point!

can someone please help my, and just for reference my graphics card is a RX 580 4g.

I have the same ***** problem.  This is ridiculous, i installed drivers for my 550 ti gfx, have it set to 1080p and 60hz, but derp, same problem.  My other monitors work JUST FINE.  I'll wait like a day for an answer, otherwise this is going back to Amazon and never purchasing a 90$ monitor again.

The initial display resolution is usually 640x480 or 800x600, it doesn't change to full size until the OS starts to load. Maybe the monitor doesn't switch down to that low of resolution?

Get another display device and then get into your BIOS and typically under the Boot options turn on CSM (Compatibility Support Module).  I like this monitor but it has some serious issues with the BIOS.
