Is it possible to upgrade a cpu in a laptop that is packed inside for example Triton 500?,because i would like to upgrade my cpu from i5 to i7....i know it is do-able and it takes risk, and i would find a really experienced person to do this. For me,i think all laptops cpu's are all ugradable but with soldered in cpu's.

HzmDnl3k no you cannot upgrade neither cpu neither gpu on any gaming laptops or any newer laptops overall (unless its the H500 Ryzen has upgreadable socket but will only support one model up 2700+ or a fully upgreadable laptop and they are very expensive) all intel mobile cpus are soldered to the mobo the same with all gpus so you have to make the correct choice when buying it because the only thing you can upgrade its memory ans storage unless you plan to swap laptops many times

Unless you know a really microelectronic engineer (not easy to find these probably only in the manufacturer assembly plants not many would do this kind work outside) that can get his hands on the hardware you need to desolder the cpu from the mobo and solder the new one but again you wouldnt get your hands on the parts you need easily plus i dunno how feasible/cheap is this kind of work at all i dont recommend it the easiest way here would be getting another laptop with an i7 or just try to find a mobo with an i7 and replace it but even so might not even have the same gpu as there are many variants inside each model

PS: also bare in mind any kind of changes to your hardware (apart from the available upgrade option) would void your warranty straight away and acer would not support any of this especially changes to they own mobos i think you would be probably better trying to search outside this community also you can read the ACUA if you havent already ans make sure to follow the rules acer reserves the right to ban/remove any user account/threads/posts that do not follow the ACUA without any previous notice
