I have been observing a massive drop in my device's performance (gaming particularly) for the past few weeks. I usually play Witcher 3 and Rainbow 6 siege, both on medium settings with no significant load to the VRAM. However, the screen freezes often mid game (no drops in frame rate though), loading times have increased dramatically (no network issues, I checked). I strongly feel there is a RAM or SSD issue, but can someone help me out?

hrshdtt i just upgraded today a nitro 5 i5 8th gen 1050 with 32gb hyperx 2666 (it was mine sold it) and a wd blue 500gb m.2 ssd (only had a normal hdd cloned it into the ssd) and the difference its from light to day also had previously optimized windows and  undervolted it check here and repasted it with kryonaut the 1050 its not much regarding gpus ( it also have a 1050ti) but that nitro 5 its a real beast now fast as ever and its completely stable on WOW on almost max settings as thats what the owner plays so my advice is upgrade your ram to 16gb 2666 dual channel minimum and ssd if you dont have one already
