Hi guys,

My Nitro 50-600 came with a Kingston 120GB M.2 SSD pre-installed.

After a few months, I've decided to upgrade the RAM, M.2 and add an additional HDD, but here are the issues I have:

1. When I replace the M.2 SSD (Kingston 128GB) with a new Sabrent NVMe M.2 2280 SSD 1TB, the new M.2 is seen and recognized by the BIOS, but the BOOT option is still showing the Kingston M.2 SSD option!!! How is this possible? I can't boot the machine because it tries to find the Kingston M.2 SSD instead of the USB bootable drive to install Windows on this new M.2 SSD drive, it just stays in the Acer logo and does absolutely nothing. If I put the Kingston M.2 SSD, it will boot ok.

2. I also replaced the original 3.5" 1TB HDD (5400rpm) with a new 1TB HDD (7200rpm). I also added an additional 2.5" 1TB Crucial SSD drive, but I can only see one of the two drives in Windows. Both are seen in the BIOS, but Disk Management only shows one of them.

Any ideas or suggestions?

    Good evening luisdb !

Do both SSD and HDD have a partition system installed?
    Did you disable SecureBoot?
    Is SataMode in AHCi?

Strange ... installed my Kingston M.2 SSD back once last time, replaced it with the new M.2 SSD and it finally saw the new M.2 in the boot options. It then let me boot with a USB and install Windows. It also finally saw the two other drives.
