Hello

my Acer Aspire E5-574tg-528h keep on getting stuck at the acer logo screen, it happened after laying for around 2 weeks. the computer is around 2 years old, and when booting it up the loading circle is not appearing, and i can´t get into the BIOS.
once the pc said "no bootable device" and i could enter the BIOS, but it made a automaticly restart and then got back to freezing

To be honest seems like the laptop needs a trip to the shop.

If it were mine I'd try to fix it myself of course, but it seems too... complex of a problem. There are many things that could be causing that, including a faulty motherboard.

These are some troubleshooting steps if you're comfortable performing them:
    1. Disassembling the laptop, it may be easier than you think and I'm sure you can find a guide or even YouTube video on how to do it for that particular model (look for an E5-574TG, drop the rest).
    2. If you do, look for a clogged ventilation system, brown marks in the motherboard (indication that something could have burned), corrosion marks due to water damage, etc.
    3. Then re-set all of the components and sister boards if you don't see anything wrong, or after you've cleaned it up (isopropyl alcohol works well). Back in the day computers beeped when they were powered on and there was no RAM sticks present, I don't know if yours would do it but it's worth a shot. If it should beep and it doesn't, bad business, motherboard or memory controller damaged (or processor).
    4. Basically try disconnecting most of the optional stuff and start from there, for example, if you see an flex cable that connects the motherboard with a sister board in one of the sides of the laptop that gives you the headphone jack and some USB ports, try leaving that disconnected and see if there's any difference.
    5. Same for the WiFi card, hard drive, etc. Bare minimums and see if it's stable enough to let you into the BIOS without freezing, then we'd see.
    6. There was a BIOS upgrade option I think for Acer, you had to have the BIOS file in a USB stick and the boot while pressing some keys (can't recall but it shouldn't be hard to find); although I don't know if I'd be brave enough to engage into that if the laptop suddenly and randomly powers off or freezes even when connected to the AC adapter.
There ain't much I can tell you without having the unit in my hands, but I hope it helps you in any way :anguished:
