Acer VG240Y losing windows positions in dual monitor setup - SOLVED

Computer information:
Windows 10 Pro 1903
GTX 1070
2x Acer Nitro VG240Y Pbiip connected via DisplayPort to DisplayPort cables.

My monitors "forget" the layout of my windows on my secondary monitor after they go to sleep and wake back up. All the windows end up on my primary monitor. This happens when my computer goes to sleep as well as when it turns off the monitors via windows powersaving options.

I was able to fix this by turning off "Quick Start Mode" on the monitor OSD and by uninstalling the old hidden monitors from the device manager. I then manually updated the remaining monitors using the driver available on the Acer support site
