M.2 SSD upgrade - aspire 3 A315-31-C3XC

I have an Acer aspire 3 A315-31-C3XC, it has 4gb ram which cannot be upgraded and a 1TB hard drive, does this model have an M.2 SSD slot available? Would like to speed this laptop up and my idea is to install this with the OS on and use the other drive for file storage.

From what I could find, this model does not have an m.2 slot on the board, however you can upgrade the 1TB drive to a SATA 2.5" SSD drive. 1TB models on Amazon are going for around $80 (US) and up.
