Replacing my Aspire A715-71G screen

Hi,

few months ago i replaced my original IPS screen with the new one. Seller described it as IPS Panel but it was TN one. Didnt mind it then tho.
Now im looking for an IPS one and i was wondering if i could install 120hz model. Can anyone here tell me if the cable between screen and motherboard supports 120hz?
Any recommends on the model? I think that LP156WF6-SPB1 would be good for 60hz.

Probably but ACER only warrants up to 60Hz. In other words, don't spend too much extra money on a 120Hz capable LCD unless the vendor has a good returns policy. Jack E/NJ

TLDR: I installed 120hz TN N156HHE-GA1 and it works

So today i got my my new Panel, TN 120hz 94% NTSC, and installed it. First i tried 60hz and then 120hz.
After trying several programs and websites i concluded that 60hz has around 15ms response time and 120hz has around 6-8ms response time.
Then i checked if it skipped any frames, and it did not, 100% worked. It is true 120hz.
The colors and viewing angles are amazing, almost something you would expect from IPS Panel.
For only 90€, feels like new laptop, would do it again 5/5.

Gonna comment if there are any problems in future.

IF you gonna do it, it breaks your warranty, i dont have it anyway.

Yeah, i wanted good picture quality and viewing angles,so i was sure IPS even though it had 30ms response time.

So i opened like 100 different models on panelook, learned all technical bits and just compared them until i found the one that fits me.
I wanted IPS one, but this one had the same viewing angles and color coverage as most of the IPS and a very low response time.
No brainer for me. Looks amazing, feels amazing.

But im gonna go with IPS for my PC cause they can achive under 5ms now.

If someone gonna try this, cause i didn't find any info regarding this laptop, i am leaving a comment that i ordered 120hz Panel and it works for now.

First what i realized is  that viewing angles are much much better than the old one, almost like IPS. And the colors... amazing for TN.
After that i checked the response time on https://www.testufo.com/mprt with 60hz, got around 12-15ms.
Then i installed CRU and changed the Refresh Rate to 120hz, checked the response time and i got 5-6ms. 
https://www.vsynctester.com/detect.html shows 120hz and 8.33ms response time.
Checked for frame skipping too, it did not skip frames.

Gotta try some games, but its worth 90€. (Theres only one dead pixel that i dont mind at all)
