I have a new Chromebook CB3-431. When I've tried to add Facebook as an app from the play store it does not display the page correctly. Is this because this app is meant for a mobile phone not a chrome book. What can i do? Its missing so much data on the page that I can't use it.

Also when I added Outlook as an app from the play store and type a new email to someone it does not underline any mis-spelt words in red. Is there a way to fix this? Or is it because I am using this as an app on a chromebook and it's not possible. Many thanks for any help!

For the first you are likely right. They've designed the app to fit phone screens and not for tablets. I'd just browse there with Chrome, like any other website. You should get the full experience that way. For Outlook I'm guessing they haven't enabled that function, it'd take a fair amount of bandwidth because they'd have to send everything you type up to their servers instead of doing it locally like would happen with the full version.

Thanks for the reply. All makes sense! However I'm not sure what the point is of having the play store on the chrome book if the apps don't display properly!

Ah, but a lot of them, likely most of them, do work. It's up to the app developers to support as many platforms as possible.
