Hello,

I own a Acer Aspire A717-72G. It contains a 256Gb SSD M2 and a 1Tb old fashioned metal HD for storage, as per default from the shop.
The firmware is version 1.26.
Nothing has been changed in the BIOS.

When i run a live USB-disk with ubuntu, fedora, mint they all boot up to the live desktop, from where i can use linux, like browsing or so, and when everything is working
i can choose to install the distribution.

However, all distributions do NOT detect the M2-card, but only the metal 1Tb WD-blue disk.

So, what must i do to let detect linux the M2-card?

Thanks

according to some websites i have to replace RTS with OPTANE to AHCI in the BIOS.

I have not done that yet.

    Will be continued.
