Hello everyone !
I recently decided to boost my Acer Predator Helios 300 from 8 to 16GB of RAM, for this I bought two Ballistix DDR4-2400 SODIMM 1.2 V, (Model CT10774440).

Here is the issue, after I changed the two racks, wher I press the power button, the keyboard enlights, the fan starts working, everything looks like the pc is booting, but the screen stays black...
When i change back to my old RAMs, everything works fine.
Anybody with this issue or an idea on how can I make this work ?

Thanks in advance for your replies !

Are you able to get to BIOS?

The "predator" starting image is not showing with the New RAM, and using F2 doesn't seem to work.

Spikeboï if you dont get POST neither can access the bios when inserting the new ram you had bought that means for sure its either not compatible with your mobo or they are faulty if you want good compatible ram i would get some hyperx or even vengeance if you want to go cheap get some crucial compatible ram they have to say in their website that its specifically compatible with your model personally i dont like and will never use crucial due to many incompatibility issues i had in the past with many devices it was just a waste of non refundable money and it was bought via reseller i prefer to spend more money in proper ram :) not cheaper OEM in fact the stock ram that acer uses its way better than any crucial ram :) if it was that good many manufacturers would use it on stock but all major manufacturers use either kingston, hynix and some samsung etc

Also i suggest you try your new sodimms in another compatible device to see if they work or not as they might also be faulty

Isn't ballistix RAM for desktop and not for laptop? Did you check on that?

sri369 they also make that brand for laptops its supposed to be their top ram as i said i dont waste my precious money on crucial :)

Spikeboï as i said if you have a chance try it on another supported device just to find out if its really working as it might also be faulty :)
