Hello. I have a Aspire F5-573G-574E. Official this laptop support m.2 SATA, but also I read that some F5-573G users used m.2 PCI. I can't find any information about it on official acer website. This model support UEFI.The PCI x4 is used by CPU. PCI x2 Current Link Width is "Not negotiated" (Is it a bus for my m.2 with a half speed ?) . Is there any way to check if my laptop supports nvme ?

    Good Morning Chaostage !

It features PCIe bus speeds for Gen3x4
However, SSD operation in M.2 2280 PCIe slots of any Gen depends on the processor supporting it.
Only 7th Generation upwards processors have such instructions.
In this series of laptops those who have these processors can use NVMe.

    Hi @Chaostage
PCI Express Root Port 1 is used by the graphics cards, check Root Port 9 and I think it will have Maximum Link width of 2x, most probably you can use a NVMe SSD because I had a F5-573 a while ago and I  used a NVMe SSD in it.

Thank you for your a very helpful answer. CPU-Z didn't show me the nvme instruction for my i5 processor, but I hadn't paid any attention because I didn't know that . Thanks again  =)
