Dear All,

Hi

This is my first post on this community so I hope that I am not doing anything wrong.

Recently, my company gave me a new laptop. It its Acer Travel core i5-8265 16GB RAM

I am working on GNS3 lab and I have tried to download VMware Workstation 15 Player, after I downloaded everything successfully, This message appears to me that "This host does not support Intel VT-X"

it turns out that I have to enable VT through BIOS , but I don't know how since I am new to acer.

Kindly, Help

Cheers

Shut the machine off. Turn it back on and immediately start banging away at the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu. If the advanced tab is available, VTx & VTd enable/disable is usually in that advanced tab section. If not, it is either auto enabled or not available. Check task manager performance tab for CPU. In lower right corner should tell you if virtualization is available and enabled or disabled. Jack E/NJ
