Hello everyone,
i have an NVMe SSD with read speed up to 3500 MB/s but i couldn't get more than the half of the speed,
far as i see it's because i only have an 2x maximum link width.

So my question, is that right i got the half of the speed because NVMe SSD need 4x link width?
and if it's so, can i change the port or add an another adapter?

Aspire E5-576G-57XK

Thanks.

    Hi,
The speed is restricted to compliment the rest of the hardware in this model, so you can not change and 2 lanes only enabled in PCI Express root ports in most of the laptops.
