Hello, my laptop's cpu runs very hot while gaming ( 87-92 degrees celsius). Is there any tutorial on how to properly repaste the cpu and gpu? I know how to do it on a PC but this is my first laptop and I am a bit confused about the thermal pads. Can I keep the old ones? Is there any tutorial or would it be possible to get a screenshot from the service manual if there is any? I am just worried about positioning them correctly. Sending it to ACER is not an option because I use it as my main computer.

Thank you everyone and have a nice day

@Sasosaso  You will loose your warranty if you have any warranty seals also repaste its easy use kryonaut and spread method just a thin layer of thermal paste covering both diodes it's enough regarding thermal pass they have nothing to do with the cpu/gpu temps they serve more as stabiliser for the heat sink to be balanced when screwed back if they're not damaged don't replace them and be careful to no damage them on disassembling as they have different sizes and there's no instructions on which sizes go where I would just leave them as it is if they're not damaged also clean the fans and exit airflow properly

And I find it weird why your H500 is heating up as it has the best gaming laptop cooling system have u optimized windows and undervolted it?

I have tried everything except replacing the thermal paste. I saw a video on youtube that was meant for Helios 300. Is it possible to find any tutorial for Helios 500?

Sasosaso thermal paste application on any predator laptops its really easy (they are the easiest laptops to disassemble i had ever seen in my life and i disassembled loads from many brands to fix/clean etc...)  just follow any disassembling video have a good thermal paste at hand (no need to replace thermal pads if they arent damaged) clean the fans and exit airflow use isopropyl alcohol and cotton buds to clean all the old thermal paste properly then apply/spread just a thin layer covering both diodes (too much thermal paste its bad as too less) assemble everything together test it and if you were successful in you thermal paste application youre good to go some only got i right after 2/3 times but if you dont have any experience with it theres nothing better than practice.

    Good luck :)
