Are 1TB NVMe Gen3x4 drives compatibale with AN515-53?

I've already upgraded to a 2.5" 512GB SSD and a 256GB m.2, but with the current deals on NVMe drives and my need for more external storage, I'm tempted to pay the extra. Currently, I can transfer roughly 500MB/s or 90k IOPS, the drives I'm looking at are easily triple. I'm understanding 512GB NVMe should work just fine, but I'm reading conflicting information on larger drives. Will I get the full performance benefit or will the drive work at all for that matter?

    Hello,

Yes, Acer tested 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, but it doesn't appear that they tested 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD.

Some people are using 1 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe though.  I doubt that you'll have any problems.  The links below should help give you a rough idea of what kind of speeds are possible (depending on the SSD of course)

Thanks, the drive from 18757539 is comparable to the ones I'm looking at and it is lining up with expected performance gains. The 13662790 bench isn't a 1tb NVMe, it's a 512GB NVMe and a 1TB SATA.

How do I sort by SSD or search for specific userbenches on userbenchmark? It's kinda crazy how much NVMe impacts the total system ratings, my bench is 15686473 and almost identical except for drive performance. EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized it's a Ti.

Someone in link below is running a 2 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.  I think you'll be fine.  Unfortunately I don't know of a way to sort.  Time consuming to look through them (I didn't look through them all---maybe 25 of them).  Good luck!
