My helios 300 uses 70% cpu and min around 53% with no apps running and makin fan noise and making bottom-right part hot, there was no issue like this before but after windows feature update I face this and even after resetting the laptop 3-4 times still this is happening. I think it is software issue but need help to solve it.

aniketjdhv1 if its using 70% it has definitely apps running in the background even if they are hidden also you might have spyware have you reset by keeping your files or clean install ?? you should perform an acer stock recovery clean install and disable windows from updating check this and also check your temps you shouldnt be over 80'ish max on cpu and 70'sh max on gpu if you are over you have a bad thermal paste application you need to either get it repasted or repaste it yourself with kryonaut or similar if you can without voiding your warranty the fan noise its completely normal theres nothing you can do about it in the new h300's

Thank You everyone for your suggestions. I removed the vmware application although all of it's services were disabled but somehow it was the culprit for this. Now, I am using oracle virtual box and the cpu temp. max to 45 even with few applications open.
