Acer has successfully delivered another 55,000 TravelMate notebooks for Georgian first graders after receiving a large education tender from the Georgian government in 2019. Acer has been chosen to receive this tender for three consecutive years and has so far provided over 225,000 notebooks to Georgian schoolchildren throughout the past six years.

The Georgian Ministry of Education (MOE) chose Acer because it made the most balanced offer, was flexible and prompt in product delivery. All of the notebooks are equipped with a Georgian keyboard layout, come with local education content and have been customized to meet specific needs. This victory was made possible by cooperation between Acer RoSEE, EMEA and HQ teams.

Education aside, Acer has also won a number of corporate and government projects in Georgia, delivering more than 6,000 notebooks and 20,000 desktops within the past three years.

Excellent news! Georgia is one of the few examples how successful investment in education can be! Those notebooks for first graders will make a difference in less than ten years and can put Georgia on the top of the countries with most sustainable economy list!
