Helios 300 G3-571 Ethernet randomly cutting out

The ethernet on my computer randomly cuts out for 5-10 seconds at a time. I could go through a whole day without interruption while the next day have constant cut offs. Wifi has no problems. I have tried uninstalling/installing the driver without success. No other device has a problem while hooked up to my router so I'm pretty sure its this computer.

Any other things I could try? Is this a part that is replaceable?

Thanks in advance.

Seems like a hardware issue to me. If still under warranty, send it to Acer Service Center.

Go to the driver properties of your ethernet driver in Device Manager and untick everything in Power Management.

taxiway also check your windows updates it might have to do with windows updating your drivers if so roll back to an older one or check any lates windows update and uninstall it if you can as you stated it was working fine before i also suggest you to disable windows update from updating drivers/firmware or even completely

I tried the power management settings and the problem persists. Maybe I spoke too soon but the wifi has been acting up too. Today the ethernet has been going down for longer than normal so I decided to use wifi. Turns out it started dropping connection as well. Sometimes the network settings tab on the task bar become unresponsive. Right clicking it will not pull up any options.

    Maybe the hardware is bad?

WHat is your Windows 10 build number? What are the dates of both of your network adaptors' drivers?

    Wifi: 4/18/18

Both says latest drivers installed when using windows to search.

taxiway probably your best option here to rule out any software issues its to perform a stock recovery clean install check here  if the issues persist after its most probably hardware at this point if youre still on warranty you could sent it back to get checked if youre out of warranty probably youre best/cheapest option would be buying a wifi usb adapter or even a usb ethernet adapter and give it a go

I would recommend taking your laptop to a friend's house or a neighbor's house or relative's house and see if you still have the same problem.  Or you can take it to coffee shop and try there.

    PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_003E&CC_028000

Also noticed that sometimes my bluetooth devices will cut out at the same time as my wifi, reconnect, and then when bluetooth comes back, the wifi will be unresponsive. I'm not able to reconnect to my router. It will not even display other wifi signals and I'm not able to disable/enable the device.

I will try rolling back the drivers in the next few days. Just a bit busy with the holiday and all but I appreciate everyone for helping!

    XdxD,

Installed the drivers yesterday. The ethernet and wifi seem stable so far. I'll give it another day or so and if all is well, I'll mark as solved.

    Again, I appreciate the help!

    EDIT:
Spoke too soon again. Wifi went through the same cycle. Disconnect then completely unresponsive.

Try setting your WiFi to use ipv4 only and not ipv6.

Is everything unticked now in Power Management for your Wi-Fi and Ethernet drivers?

Yes everything was unticked in power management.

I went ahead and did a clean install of windows. Without installing any updates or drivers I connected my wifi and after a few seconds the cycle repeated itself. Does this confirm a hardware issue? If so,is this something that can be replaced somewhat easily?

I'm going to update everything again and see if anything changes. Appreciate the help everyone!
