I would like to add more memory to the 4GB already in the A315-53-30NO I just bought. I can not find in any ACER literature that came with the laptop or online as to what specific memory module I'll need. I know is is DDR4 but what other info do I need to make sure I order the right stick of either 4,8 or 16GB? Do I need  x8 or will x16 work? Will 2400 MT/S work? Thanks!

Thanks for your help!

You have a 4GB on-board memory and a slot for upgrade, you can upgrade with a maximum of 16GB module to make the total memory of 20GB.

DDR4 1866/2133 SODIMM memory interface design:
•Supported memory size is up to 20GB
    Supported on-board memory is 4GB
So your existing memory is either just the 4GB on the motherboard, or the 4GB plus more in the socket. You can populate the socket with a 4GB, 8GB or 16GB stick. If the onboard memory is 1866 you should put another 1866 stick in. If it's 2133 you should put a 2133 in. There won't be a problem if you put in 2133 and the onboard is 1866, but they will both run at the 1866 speed.
