    The laptop says I have 8GB of DDR4 RAM, but I only saw one slot with 4GB installed on it. So it seems that the other one is soldered on the board (correct me if I'm wrong).
    As I see the memory module installed inside is a 2400 MHz, but my laptop only runs at 800 MHz or 998 MHz at max.

    I also think that maybe changing the memory frequency on the bios may help, but that kind of setting can't be seen on the v1.20 bios.

    You are correct, 4GB on the motherboard and expansion in that one slot. Looking at the processor speed can be s bit problematic, often the tools don't do a good job of showing speeds under load. It's normal for the processor to run slow most of the time, the power needs are a lot less at 800MHz that at 2GHz! You will likely have to run some benchmark or really intensive game to see speeds near the limit of the processor. If you want to upgrade the memory you can replace the 2400MHz 4GB module with an 8GB or 16GB IIRC.
