2 x xb271hu both with Burn in issues

As the title says, I have 2 x xb271hu monitors, and both are presenting the burn in issue.

I've put up with it for sometime as it would only occur if my Hz was higher than 120hz. However its now even happening at 120hz and below. For the value of these monitors I'd expect them to perform much better.

I've seen previously posts that indicate ACER can do a firmware update to resolve the issue? Is this a thing or what?

I'm located in Australia and not far from an ACER Repair centre, if they have the ability to perform this firmware update?
