So i have been using my Helios 300(2019) since September and its an amazing laptop, but i have one issue whenever i am playing a game and i unplug the AC adaptor my game becomes really slow and unplayable, what is the reason for this and is there a fix?

i've honestly never had a laptop that performs well in games on battery. they need a good amount of power to be able to run the video card and cpu at enough capacity for most games.

This is not a problem, cpu and gpu power limits are reduced on battery,so it's better to play when plugged In. Maybe it's possible to improve performance via power plan settings, but laptop won't last long on battery in that mode anyway.

oobula Foga theres no fix because theres nothing wrong with it its completely normal for those who dont know yet you shouldnt be gaming on battery at all the battery main purpose its to aid the adapter with more power when this one cant also you arent getting the full performance of the machine and youre wearing your battery that you will end up by damaging the cells and making it useless then you will have to replace it

Stuont its a problem yes i wont recommend anyone to play or perform any demanding tasks on battery only if you want your battery to last long as the more times you will recharge it the less it will last the more wear it will have internal lithium batteries have a limited amount of recharging cycles and keep an eye on your battery percentage wear 5/10% its ok more than that the battery will stop holding the full charge capacity so do it at your own risk i have mine always on AC since day 1 24/7 for 2 years non stop and i have +- 9% battery wear
