So I just recently moved to a new place, and now when I went to setup my external monitor I cannot get the power light to turn on no matter what I do.  I originally had the power supply for the monitor plugged into an outlet, I then tried directly into the wall.  I have tried disconnecting and reconnected the power supply itself.  I have tried performing the reset of unplugging all power from the monitor and holding the power button for 30 seconds.

I am not sure why the monitor has decided to quit working, when it was working fine previously before moving.  I am assuming I am using the correct powersupply but I also have a surplus of cords, but I am almost positive this is the correct one.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?  When I hook everything up to my laptop it seems like it recognizes the other monitor, it just won't power up anything on the screen and the powerlight on the monitor isn't showing.

Help please!

Hi, Sorry to hear about your issue. Kindly try to do Power On Self Test by following the below steps.

     Power On Self Test :

      1) Turn off the monitor and unplug all the cables including the power cord.

      2) Press and hold the Power Button of the monitor for 30 seconds with all the cables unplugged.

      3) Plug the cables back to the monitor and check.

If in case if this doesn't work and  if you feel that the unit is under warranty, check the link below and choose your location and contact the Acer support in your location.
