So I have a acre predator Helios 300X gaming laptop. And I have a seagate barracuda 1 TB hard drive. I have take out and use the upgraded hard drive kit that comes with the computer, and installed the hardrive on multiple different occasions, and I just can’t seem to get it to work. The hard drive won’t even appear in the porations tab, and just I’m sick of having 250 gb of storage and that’s it when I have a 1tb hard drive sitting around collecting dust.

Snekybeaky you have to make sure that the sata cable its properly connected to the mobo sata port (bare in mind to check this you would have to disassemble the chassis if still on warranty and you have warranty seals dont you will void the warranty only the service center can check that for you but if you dont have any seals youre ok to carefully open it and check the cable)  also does the drive spin when you boot up if and does it show up in the bios if so and not showing on windows probably you need to assign it a letter
