I was recently in a car accident on 10/27/19 with my laptop in the car. The only damage I can see is that there are a few small dents on the top of the laptop. However, every time I start the laptop up predator sense says it's reaching 96-98C. It'll then cool down to about 65-70C and then increase back to 96-98C over a short period of time. It repeats this process the whole time I'm using it. I undervolted it before the accident also as this laptop is already known for it's heating issues. That seemed to fix the heating issues I had then. Now it's like the undervolt isn't working at all. If I play a game that I used to get 60+ fps on, I now get much less and the game lags and jumps around a lot. Ever since the accident, the laptop has been thermal throttling pretty much every time I use it and recently it even froze while playing the new cod. It froze and started looping sounds until I had to power it off and there was no stopping it. I'm hoping you all could tell me what you all think is wrong with it. I asked a local repair shop online and they said it could need re thermal pasted and deep cleaning. I don't think that's the case though as the laptop doesn't actually ever feel as hot as it says it is. It's almost like it thinks it's hotter than it actually is. Any help is much appreciated and I would be happy to provide more details if they are needed. Thanks!

I have. hwmonitor says that three of my four cores are heating up to 90+C while one of them is staying around 70C under load. All four cores used to stay around 70C when under load due to undervolting. Now only one is apparently.

Hi, Good Morning! Sorry to hear about your issue.  Kindly find the temperature information below.
Predator products are engineered to withstand higher operating temperatures than traditional notebooks. These systems include features that help with cooling and heat dispersion. The CPU and GPU are designed to handle temperature spikes in excess of 98 degrees Celsius without causing damage to the components. It is common for PC temperatures to spike temporarily during heavy gaming or graphic usage. If the system encounters excessive temperatures that could damage the hardware, it will automatically shut down to protect the components from becoming damaged.
If you still feel that the unit is hot, kindly check the link below and choose your location and contact the Acer support in your location.

Kyle3909 all your cores temps should be similar (up to a max 3/4 degrees difference between them) i suggest you to either repaste it with kryonaut or similar (use the spread method just a thin layer covering both diodes its enough too much paste its bad as also too less) if you can without voiding the warranty if you dont have any seals but if you have seals send it for a repaste if youre out or warranty (as you stated above) your fine to do whatever you want just be carefull whne disassembling the heatsink to not damage any thermal pads if you find any damaged you need to replace them as they dont have the same thickness there are mixed with it bare in mind gaming laptops should be repasted once a year when daily heavy use also dont forget to clean the fans properly and the exit airflow also new cod its having loads of issues on pc heating issues etc even on the newer gpus so dont expect it to work properly on your device they need to optimize it properly probably in the next updates  if you want to test a game make sure you test a properly optimized game to get real results like rise of the tomb raider etc because games as fortnite rust pubg are not optimized either

@Kyle3909 I think you should repaste and if you have had the laptop for a long time, clean out the fans as today I just repasted my laptop after 2 years and my fans were CLOGGED with dust, but once done my max temperatures I have reached is 73 whilst gaming.
