So my Acer predator shutdown and popped up with an error code 43 in device manager. After taking it to an Acer branch near me i was informed it needs to be replaced. The dilemma I now have is that I've moved from the US to Taiwan and would have to return in order to have it replaced, even though the Acer HQ is here in Taiwan. So general question if anyone has managed to get their laptop replaced under warranty outside of the point of purchase. Appreciate the feedback.

Dan69 error 43 its usually hardware failure the issue you have is taht you bought it in the US correct and by moving out you imported it to Taiwan so it would have to be repaired in the country of origin (as prices in the US are much more cheaper than any other country i had seen) also the warranty policies are not the same for every country for ex in the US you have 2 years standard warranty (or used to to for the older models from 2018 and before now changed to 1) and in the UK (and most of the EU) you only have 1 year ITW (international travelers warranty this means it would get repaired in another country for ex if you go on holiday/business trip to another country not moving) unless you pay for extended warranty as i did but you can always check with the US support if it could be repaired there or if you would really have to send it back youll probably get lucky as the HQ is there they would probably just repair it there :)
