My 10 month old Spin 5 laptop will not power on, my son peeled the label with SNID on it when it was new.
Even though under warranty I can't seem to contact anyone at Acer without this number...help???

    Hi, @dholmanTry this following step
    1) Turn off the device.
    2) Press power button and immediately press F2 button for 4-5 times.
    3) This will take you to Bios.

Once in bios check for SNID or Serial number to get help from acer support.
    https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact

Also Try to do battery reset. Follow the steps below:
    1) Unplug power cable from device.
    2) Close the lid if open then flip it upside down.
    3) Find small symbol for battery and next to it there should be a small pin hole.
    4) Use a paperclip or something smaller to press and hold for 10-15 seconds.
    5) Then try to turn on the device and test.

Can't help with your laptop not turning on but in case you want to get the SNID, you can download the acer care center app from acer's website. it'll help you get the SNID and other useful info about your laptop
