Hi I started to restore to factory settings after pressing alt + f10, now it’s on the restore progress screen and it says:
Source -
Destination -
Speed -
Elapsed time - Time left -
Current progress 0%,
all of the above are currently blank, and It has been stuck on 0% for about 45 minutes now, is this common ? Any suggestions would Be appreciated

thanks
Sean.

1 day later and it’s still the same, also restarted the laptop today and it goes straight back into the recovery screen and stays at 0%, will a windows disk solve this ?

Hi, Good Morning! Sorry to hear about the issue. Kindly try to follow the below steps and try again.

Reset PC using Alt + F10:

    1.   Press and hold the Power key for 5 seconds to power the system off completely.

    2.   Press the Power key to turn on the computer.

    3.   Press the Alt and F10 keys at the same time when the Acer logo appears on the screen. Your system should boot to a blue screen that says Choose an option.

    4.   Select Troubleshoot.

    5.   Click Reset your PC. This process will erase all data on the your system. Choose the Refresh your PC option if you want to restore your system and retain your data.

    6.   Click Next, then select Just remove my files.

    7.   Click Reset to begin the recovery.

Even after trying this, if you have the same issue, if you feel that the unit is under warranty, check the link below and choose your location and contact the support in your location.

@MartinJohn00001 hi Martin thanks for your sugguestion, I have followed those steps and everytime regardless of if I press alt f10 or let it load up on its own it goes straight into acer e-recovery management, and I can only click the ‘completely restore system to factory defaults’ when I first did This it gave me the option to ‘restore operating system and retain user data’ but now it’s grey and i cant click it I can only restore to factory defaults, but that is where I’m having the problem and it just stays at 0%, will re-installing windows from a disk eradicate this problem ? Thank you,

    Sean
