Are the Acer receivers for the Acer keyboards and mice the same

My household has three desktop PC's from acer. They all came with the same basic mouse and keyboard. I've lost one of the wireless receiver's for one of the mouse/ keyboards. Is the receiver universal for all keyboards and mouse with the same type of keyboard and mouse please?

Well , first look for the receiver again where you lost it because what comes next would be a bit hefty on pocket.

These days, in the wi-fi ranges, that linking is done in the factory with very long ID numbers. Even if they are from the same manufacturer, you will still require the receiver that is hardcoded to the mouse and the second one belonging t the keyboard.

And you can’t just buy the USB receiver for that mouse, because they don’t make nor sell just the USB receiver. And, it is hard to reprogram another one to the same frequency for you. As far as we have seen is that no company provides a replacement wireless connector for their devices.

In such a situation, there is no other option, but to buy entirely new keyboard.
