No bootable device found

On boot up I get the error "no bootable device found".

If I enter the BIOS settings the HDD0 is set to none and the HDD1 is called PS311.

Alt - F10 and F8 do nothing.
Boot config is empty.
F12 does not give any boot options.

Should I check if the HDD is properly connected? Does this void warranty?

If your laptop has an HDD bay, you can open it without voiding the warranty, if you need to open completly the back, you will break the warranty.

If you are under warranty, please contact Acer support service.

If it's still not visible on BIOS...nope.
