For one reason or another a small handful of LGA-1155 boards, specifically when running 2nd or 3rd gen i3, i5 and i7 cpus, WILL NOT BOOT with AMD GPUs HD 7xxx or above, R7, R9, or RX cards that are PCIe 3.0. I do not know why, nobody can give a strait answer based on facts or research, nor give a way to work around it or fix it. What I would suggest is that you always stick with the manufacturer of the standard card that came with your system (if you want to upgrade) which in the Predator AG 3620 PC is an NVIDIA and upgrade the GPU to an NVIDIA compatible card.

    Hi guys,

There's two different versions of the Predator AG3620 mainboard.

    1. Windows 7 version that has a legacy BIOS
    2. Windows 8 version that has a modern UEFI

As you can see from the link below, someone has an RX-580 working.  I suspect that they have the Windows 8 version of the mainboard with UEFI.  And I know that @khaled2004 has the Windows 7 version w/ legacy BIOS because of your P01-xx BIOS.

In late 2012, the entire computer industry transitioned over to UEFI.  This transistion was completed in about late 2013.

As a general observation, I suspect the Windows 8 version with UEFI can run any newish AMD or Nvidia graphics card such as the RX-570 or RX-580, whereas the Windows 7 version of mainboard with legacy BIOS probably can't.

I don't think installing an Nvidia graphics card is going to help you unless you install one that supports legacy BIOS.....which I doubt that you want to do.....because it would be pretty old.....and slow.  But definitely won't hurt to give it a shot.

You might want to consider getting a new gaming desktop.  Because in the gaming world, a 7 or 8 year old desktop w/ legacy BIOS is getting pretty old...imo

    Just my 2 cents.
