Hi,
I need some help and would be great to get a solution for my problem.
Like said at the topic my Acer Spin 1 is only running under AC-Power because the
inside battery is no longer detected.

All runs fine and there was no problem with the battery.
I opened the case because I want to change the RAM.
Then I closed it and changed nothing.

I re-started the computer and then the battery was not detected.
I tried all different things and nothin worked out.
The battery is not detected.

I uninstall the battery driver and re-install it.
No success.

I re-opened the case and closed it again without any success.

I unplugged the battery, waited 5min.
Put the battery inside and pressed the power botton for 15seconds.
Put in ac-power and started the computer.
No success.

I also searched for the battery reset botton but could not find it.
I also search for a botton which needs to be pressed when the  case is closed
but I cannot find it.
Below there is an inside pic, maybe someone knows where I can find such bottons.

Does anyone has an idea what to do and can figure out the problem?
Would be really great.
Thanks for any help!!!

The case safety interlock switch, if so equipped will be located near the mainboard RAM slots. The battery reset switch will be aligned with a pinhole on the bottom case --- if you find no pinhole then no switch. If you changed nothing, then either a battery  wire is broken, its connector to the mainboard needs to be reseated , or its internal voltage controller has failed.  Jack E/NJ
