Recently purchased two 8gb memory modules (ram) for this destop.... Will not boot or up with any of these modules although they are correct..... Also have a 4gb module of memory, it will boot and log in to windows 10 but will only detect 3.88 of usable memory, I have also tried booting with the 8gb and 4gb memory modules inserted. Still only detects the 4gb....Currently running windows 10, there is no bios update since 2015ish for my machine..... Was wondering if this machine actually does as specified on acer specs reviews (accepts 16gb of memory) - Haven't seen any machine of this calibre yet operating with 16gb of memory, is there any hope of getting this machine to function using 16gb of memory ?

Bios version : p21 BO1

Please check if you have the memory modules of correct specification.
This motherboard accommodates two un-buffered DDR3 SDRAM memory modules.
    DDR3 1600 with Memory Bus 800 MHz
    DDR3 1333 with Memory Bus 667 MHz
