Does AN515-51-504A (NH.Q2QAA.008) support freesync or (and) G-Sync? The latter 2 are to reduce tearing and stuttering. Please note it's to be used over HDMI; I'm not exactly sure what kind but I'm hoping it's 2.0.

Thank you kindly for your help

    Hi ,
This NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 is your  graphic card on your acer AN515-51-504A (NH.Q2QAA.008)
G-Sync compatible and FreeSync monitors only work with Nvidia's GTX 10 series , follow the below steps to enable
    1. Activate FreeSync on your display, using on-screen controls.
    2. Right-click NVIDIA logo on your Windows 10 taskbar.
    3. Choose "NVIDIA Control Panel".
    4. Choose "Change resolution" on the left menu.
    5. Set the highest refresh rate for the FreeSync monitor.
Hit Accept if its useful :)

It was indicated to me that G-Sync requires displayport, and while users can do Freesync over HDMI it's an AMD non-standard thing; and as you mentioned in my case it's NVIDIA (AMD being Radeon). Was that wrong?

In case you didn't notice in the OP, it's for HDMI.
