Why don't I get a warrenty?

I was trying to check the to see if i was in warranty status, i bought my laptop four months ago, the speaker is having issues with garbled sound which it had from day one, and the case is coming apart, but when i went to check how long my warranty was for it says my warranty expired the day i bought it, how can that be?

Actually you do have warranty most of the time, did you register your account? You have to register to activate your warranty.
